Katy McKenzie
Secretary

Katy McKenzie is new to the Lone Star
Chapter of the NDIA
having been elected as Secretary in February 2009.
Katy will be actively working the website for the chapter, keeping the
chapter filings with the national organization current and recording minutes
of the meetings.
She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Cedar Hill High
School in 1998 where she played on the golf team.
After high school she attended Mountain View College in Dallas and later
Moultrie Technical College in Moultrie, Georgia.
While attending college, she worked full time in the Dallas County District
Clerk’s office from 1999 – 2004; she worked in the civil process department,
as the clerk for the 4D Court for the Attorney General of Texas, and as a
lead clerk in the 255th District Court.
Katy was a litigation secretary for the firm of Alexander & Vann in
Thomasville, Georgia for 1 year and later for Craig Bernstein, a Dallas
attorney.
In 2008 she joined the Dallas office of Cantey Hanger LLP as a litigation
secretary.
Katy is active in many sports and recreational activities. She has been in
gymnastics since the age of 2. She enjoys golfing, fishing, working out, and
snow skiing.
