Ted Stout, Managing Partner
Ted Stout joined SGIS as Managing Partner in January 2005. Stout was tasked with developing the Southwestern hub for SGIS and has taken that territory from a one-man team to over 40 employees in less than two years. With more than twelve year’s experience, Stout has established himself as a key player in the technical services industry.
SGIS has an established record of providing outstanding service to government agencies within the Intelligence, Homeland Security, Defense and Space communities, specializing in solutions within the areas of Intelligence Analysis, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, Infrastructure Support and Logistics. SGIS develops and applies advanced technical strategies to help protect our fellow citizens from threats to the homeland, provides advanced tools to soldiers who defend our nation and develops technologies that enable the further exploration of our solar system.
Prior to joining SGIS, Stout was the Dallas Branch Manager for a national, publicly traded technical services firm where he spent ten years. During his tenure he held positions at a variety of levels including Technical Recruiter, Account Manager and Producing Branch Manager. He achieved top honors within each role and with his move to Dallas, Texas in 1999, helped grow the organization from zero to $10 million in annual revenue in less than two years. Stout was successful in developing two different regions and sales territories for the company.
A native of Iowa, Stout attended William Penn College in Oskaloosa, Iowa before joining the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served as a member of the Field Artillery Advanced Party Team for 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines – 2nd Marine Division, in Desert Storm (1990 – 1991).
Stout lives in Fairview, Texas with his wife, Michele and their family.
