J. Wayne Trimmer

Prior to Merrill, Mr. Trimmer assumed responsibilities as President of the services company IBS and affiliated with Giltspur, Inc. - responsible for a production and graphic printing business segment including a multi-million dollar project for American Airlines.

In the early 1990’s Mr. Trimmer joined Lockheed Martin as a business development Director for Advanced Programs. Lockheed Martin is a diversified company with Government and Commercial sectors concentrating on Aerospace, Technical Services, Electronics, Strategic Missiles and Space Systems.

In late 1980’s Mr. Trimmer moved to a French company, Aerospatiale. As Director of Contracts and Pricing, Mr. Trimmer managed various Government & Commercial business development administration activities with the company. Prior to Aerospatiale, Mr. Trimmer elected to leave the active duty Marine Corps and join DynCorp, as a Business Manager specializing in the administration of commercial and government contracts. He held various positions in management leading to his selection as Director of Contracts for DynCorp Aerospace        Operations Division.

Mr. Trimmer has been awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Boston University.

He is past president (2003-2006) of the North Texas National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) representing all of the North Texas Defense community companies as well as over 700 individual members and is currently on the Board of Directors. He is a member of the Downtown Rotary Club, the Dallas/Fort Worth World Affairs Council. He is a distinguished life member of the U. S. Naval War College Foundation. Mr. Trimmer is listed in the Oxford's Who's Who and is a participating member of the American Management Association (AMA). He is a 1994 graduate of Leadership Fort Worth. He is also the North Texas Chapter past president of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). He has held Navy League leadership positions as Fort Worth Council President, Texas State President, and the Southwest Regional President as well as on the Board of Directors. He is married to the former Christi Lin McCallie of Farmers Branch Texas and they have two children, Jeffrey Wayne (13) and Christine Grace (6).
