Matthew was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. When growing up,

Matthew enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and dreamed of a flying career.

 

At the age of 17, he earning his private pilot's license, and has pursued

flying ever since. After high school, Matthew enrolled in Air Force ROTC

at Texas Christian University.

 

Matthew is scheduled to graduate May 2009 with a B.S. in Electrical

Engineering and a commission as a second Lieutenant. After commissioning

Matthew will attend undergraduate pilot training at Vance Air Force base and

begin his career in the World's greatest Air Force.
